Big and in fact, Massive Congratulations to the Nze family!!!
In the very early hours of today, Nollywood actors Stan and Blessing Nze took to their social media pages to announce the news that they are pregnant! It is a very welcome news for the family who have been trying and hoping for their own bundle of joy, and alas, here it is now.
During a more in depth video about the pregnancy, both Stan and Blessing Nze opened up about a few surprising things about their pregnancy and what Blessing is experiencing now. Here’s what the couple had to say.
1. They Didn’t Know She Was Pregnant for Almost 5 Months
According to Stan Nze:
STAN NZE: When we went to the hospital, we found out that we were 19 weeks gone without evening knowing. She didn’t know she was pregnant for like – that’s about 5 months. It was almost 5 months before she found out that she was heavy. After the test, it felt like after we confirmed we were pregnant, she started feeling pregnant. I kid you not, like two, three days after we found out we were pregnant, that line wey dey show for women belle just show. As if God was really waiting for us to fully not know, so as soon as we now knew, all the signs, her body started adjusting to the pregnancy.
2. Her Leg Is Swollen
According to Blessing:
BLESSING NZE: E do swell. E do do swell a lot. My leg is swollen. I dey do all those raise your leg above your body level. You’re now lying down like witchcraft – you know how when you’re in secondary school and people lie in a type of way and raise they’re leg and people now say “ah that is witchcraft oh” – but now you’re now lying down like what I don’t know.
3. No More Spicy or Salty Foods
According to Stan Nze:
STAN NZE: She can’t eat a lot of spicy foods or a lot of salt because it contributes to the swollen leg, and of course her BP.
4. Blessing Is Now Heavily Snoring
According to her:
BLESSING NZE: I dey sleep. I can be talking to you now but when the wind of sleep comes, nothing can stop me. And then something that I don’t know where it comes from, but I do do snore. That snoring, according to my friend, that’s not snoring, that’s generator sound. In fact they call me mechanic generator now. I don’t know how it started oh, just like that.
Again, massive congratulations to the Nze family!!! We all wish you safe delivery and a happy healthy baby.
